Reviewing: Super Movers
At order, the movers were scheduled to arrive between 8-8:30 am. the day before the move I received an email saying they would be there at 9am. They did not arrive until 9:45am. I left two voicemails and 1 email between 9:20 and 9:40 asking status and location of the movers with no response. When I finally received a call back 3hrs later Brandon was very unconcerned, unapologetic, and said "I know you were worried but stuff happens". No response to why he did not call me back or respond to my email. Will never use them again!

Truck showed up more than an hour before they said it would. The movers packed the truck badly leaving huge spaces so that they did not get all the stuff loaded that we were expecting. The movers were not expecting to put a bet back together at destination but they helped when I asked them to. After the move was complete, the movers' boss, Brandon spoke to me on the phone telling me that they were not aware that there was a second pick-up location at a storage facility and that it was not built it wasn't in their contract and he asked me if I would "take care of" his guys. This is despite the fact that I spoke to Brandon the day before the move and he mentioned the second pick up location and asked where it was in relation to the first location and the destination. On going back to the first location, we found that they had to remove a door to get our chair out of the room but they didn't put the door back. We couldn't find the hinge bolts. I called Brandon again and, after over an hour of waiting, called him again and found out that one of the guys had the bolts in his pocket and would come back with them.

Sergio is a real pro. He called in advance, showed up at exactly the designated time. They Worked nonstop. And there was no way everything was going to fit in the 20 foot truck, but Sergio was masterful in how he packed. We got all but a few items in. Fantastic! He and his partner were fantastic.

So pleased with the excellent moving experience we had with Pyramid Movers. This company provided an extremely polite, and hard working crew, who were on-time, careful, and a delight to interact with. Thank Jamie and Marcello, for all your expertise and great service.

The movers were wonderful and very helpful. My issue is with imoving. There should have been more explanation on how every extra box or bookshelf, etc is an extra cost. I would have rather paid more money and had everything moved!

Reno Moving Services Are a Click Away
Every move is different. Whether it’s a home, office, or just a few items of heavy furniture, iMoving provides a whole menu of must-have services for moving in and out of Reno:
Long Distance Moving
There are plenty of long distance moving companies in Reno. Are they all worth your time? No. That's why iMoving weeds out the sketchy moving companies, so you're only choosng from the best of the best.
Before a long distance mover joins our network, they have to satisfy our strict requirements. We check safety records, customer feedback, and service histories - and once they join our marketplace, we even call in and pose as customers to keep 'em honest.
Local Moving
There are some sketchy moving companies in Reno, and there are some crews that really give it their all. It's our job to protect you from the bad ones, and make sure you're only shopping from the best of the best. You deserve top-rated movers in Reno, and that's what you're getting with iMoving.
Oh, we also make it super easy to shop for quotes. No need to deal with pushy sales agents or crappy websites. Just tell us what you need on your local move, and we'll give you a whole list of quotes that you can pick and choose from.
Packing Services
Professional packing services in Reno may seem like a luxury you can't afford, but it's one we've made accessible to everyone.
"But iMoving," you may be saying, "I was planning on wrapping all my stuff myself!" Let us be the first to tell you that your old t-shirts aren't enough to keep your fine china safe. You may have a few Amazon boxes left over from last Christmas, but our moving teams have high-quality boxes, padding supplies, and the experience and track record to prove they're legit. Plus, it's not as expensive as you'd expect.
Storage Services
Some people think of storage, and they immediately assume it'll be a long-term money-pit. But at iMoving, we've made it easy to find storage in Reno without breaking the bank - or wasting your time dealing with storage units, either. When you use iMoving to book storage solutions, you're getting on-site storage that's provided by some of the best movers in town.
We're big fans of full service storage. This means your items will live in an on-site facility, and when you've made some space at your new place, they'll be delivered straight to your door. No need to deal with multiple trips or truck rentals to get items out of a unit.
Commercial Moving
You've already got a million things to keep track of. Putting all of Carol in HR's knicknacks in a box so you can move offices is probably not on that list. Or at least, it shouldn't be.
If you're running a business, downtime is the enemy. That's why people like their meetings short, and that's why the commercial movers in the iMoving network can get your HQ packed up and transported in record time. Looking for the best commercial moving company in Reno? We've got 'em. Just tell us more about the job, and we'll connect you with the professionals you deserve.
FAQ
Moving labor is a helpful service you can book if you're planning on DIYing most of your move. Rather than a full-service moving team, moving labor can show up, help with packing, and help with the heavy lifting. Everything else will be up to you, unless you book a moving labor team to meet you at your destination, too.
Movers need to have an official Department of Transportation (DOT) number, which you should be able to find on their website. If a moving company handles long distance moves that cross state lines, they'll also need a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) number. Don't forget to check reviews and look for any insurance info they may feature on their website.
If a moving company is expecting you to pay for your entire move up front, run. This is a common tactic for sketchy movers, and if you pay up front, there's no guarantee they'll even deliver your stuff. On the other hand, paying a down payment before the big day is relatively common. Expect to pay a few hundred bucks, or 5-10% of the price of your move. Also, use iMoving to make sure you aren't dealing with scammers.
When you move to a more built-up or urban area, chances are they won't let you park an entire semi truck in front of your apartment. Your movers will have to park the main truck at a staging area, and use a smaller box truck or van to transport your stuff to (and from) the trailer. This is called a moving shuttle, and the inconvenience comes at a price. Blame your city council.
We recommend tipping between 15% and 20% of the total cost of the move, to be divided up between your entire moving team. Don't forget the driver, either! In the moving industry, tipping is usually accepted and expected. While there are some rare companies that don't accept a gratuity, it's a good idea to have your wallet at the ready just in case.
