This move was a huge disaster since the start. When it started, I did not get any notification or confirmation about when the movers will be coming. At 6pm, I got a call telling me the movers will be coming at 7pm the same day. Then, at 9pm, the movers called, telling me they are three hours away. Then, past 11pm, they came to pick up my things. They were not at all careful about handling my things. They were crashing and dropping everything and at one point, they dropped my box on the ground and rolled it. I watched him as he rolled my box cross the parking lot and dropping my bags and treadmill on the floor. He says "why are you so uptight." He accuses me of being uptight as he throws and crashes my things. Then, I was told the movers will arrive on the night of the 27th or the morning of the 28th. They did not come on either of those times. Then, I was told that they will arrive by 7pm on the 29th, and they did not come. Around 12am, they called to tell me they are three hours away. Then, they don't arrive until 7am. I called them and they tell me they are an hour away. Far past 8am, they came to drop off my things. I found out that they detached and disassembled my TV and TV stand. They lost the screw that connects the TV and the TV stand. And then, I saw cracks on my TV screen and I turned it on. That's when I found out that my TV was completely destroyed. They literally cracked my TV open and it is broken. This whole move was a huge disaster and disappointment. They did not communicate thoroughly, they did not keep their promises, they never arrive on time, they handle my things as if my things are garbage, and they destroyed my furniture. They were extremely disappointing and did not even have the decency to apologize.

They loaded everything from my rental in one hour- amazing Only one item was damaged A 5 foot cat climbing structure. It should have been taken apart and then moved and then put back together. Two of the post were damaged and now it’s only 2 1/2 feet high

Boss Movers didn’t know where they were going, they didn’t return my phone calls, they had no idea what time they would be there, they called me the DAY BEFORE the move because they didn’t know what day it was, they had no copy of my inventory I filed with you guys, they didn’t know there were two drop-off locations, they didn’t have proper moving equipment….

The manager for boss movers and his employees were very kind and polite. However, they were not punctual or prepared for the task at hand. The day of moving, he came for a quick walk through. Was surprised on how much there was to move and said he had to reevaluate the situation. 2 hours later I got a phone call with the plan. His men arrived 2 hrs after that. They had to make two trips to their storage facility because their truck was not big enough. Fast forward to the next day. The manager had said that they would be at our new house by 6pm. That was fine because closing was at 4. 7pm-still did not arrive. Come to find out, they were still loading up their truck (2hrs away)! The manager said that not all my items would fit on the moving truck. I called two weeks prior to make sure they had atleast a 26ft truck. The manager said they were unable to rent a 26ft truck because the truck had to be returned in 2 hours. He wanted to put a trailer on my husbands truck-we were already at the new location. He wasn’t sure why to do. I asked him if he could use a second truck? He was very hesitant about it. Complained about the gas prices and extra man power. Charged me more money because he had to send two trucks! The movers did not get to my house until 1130 at night, finishing at 0115am! As we are unpacking items, we have noticed numerous dents, scratches, black smudges on some of our furniture. We are also missing pieces of furniture as well. Needless to say, I do not recommend Boss Movers.
