It turned out to be horrible. I have several items that were broken, some of them irreplaceable! My desk is now unusable! This was a $200 desk and is totally broken! It took 3 weeks for my belongings to be delivered and then they were going to charge me storage fees when I had declined storage but they saw fit to put it all into storage themselves. One item that a lot of the screws had fallen out of they just put outside up against the house not even telling me that it was there. When I realized it was missing I went out and the driver showed me where it was and acted like it was no big deal. I really thought my belongings were going to be treated better than this. I haven't quite gotten through all of my boxes just yet but I am not finding some things and I'm hoping that I will find them. The two men that delivered my belongings spoke very bad English and I had to explain everything to them. I will be writing a review on their website and I intend to call the Better Business Bureau!

The miscommunication by IMOVING was horrible. They sold me on price and delivery date. Neither of which held true. I had no choice but to directly work with the actual moving company manager to arrange delivery on the day we required. I had to pay an expedited fee. Couldn't get IMOVING to handle it. The pick up crew were drinking and verbally abusive. We have photos to prove. They didn't show up until 1pm so didn't complete the job until 10pm. They tried to charge me more and couldn't reach IMOVING as they all went home. NO 24 hour customer service as they state. Horrible. The premium packing/unpacking is a bogus charge. Again another fee they added and did not complete. We are filing a claim to deduct $2k off the cost. I personally removed all the quilts and tape upon delivery...Counted boxes supplied by mover. Nothing matched their inventory sheet. Charges to be refunded: $1,250 premium packing $750 expedited shipping.

There was obviously very poor communication between imoving and the actual movers. The movers themselves did a fine job once they were able to figure out what the specifics were. But the bad communication caused the delay in the process, and representatives for imoving were unreachable

In the moving industry, there are three types of estimates: binding, non-binding, and non-binding, not-too-exceed. When you get a binding estimate, it means you’re getting a flat rate.
The amount on your quote is the amount you’ll pay. Binding estimates are a good sign you’re dealing with a reputable mover.
Non-binding estimates can be adjusted before, during and after a move, but non-binding, not-to-exceed estimates can only be adjusted downwards from your initial price.
If a moving company is expecting you to pay for your entire move up front, run. This is a common tactic for sketchy movers, and if you pay up front, there's no guarantee they'll even deliver your stuff.
On the other hand, paying a down payment before the big day is relatively common. Expect to pay a few hundred bucks, or 5-10% of the price of your move. Also, use iMoving to make sure you aren't dealing with scammers.
